Rachel Atkinson - Operations Director
Rachel has over 25 years sales, marketing and operational management experience. Rachel joined Swan Digital in 1993 after working for ICI for 7 years managing sales & marketing in the Caribbean.
Joining Swan Digital so early in the development of the company saw Rachel cover many roles, as Rachel states:
“At the beginning, I did everything; sales, customer service, service support, billing and ordering equipment. It was a busy but exciting time getting the business up and running.”
Now Rachel concentrates on operational management, ensuring the needs of new and existing customers are met. This includes establishing processes and procedures to ensure efficient service delivery. Rachel ensures these processes are followed internally to avoid any duplication, errors or delays.
Rachel sees the future of office equipment in multi-functional machines which provide a modern, cost effective and more elegant solution. Rachel states:
“When I came to Swan Digital, companies had separate printers, fax machines and copiers – scanners were something in the future! Now companies have one machine that performs a number of networked reprographic functions. Companies that implement a managing costs programme can save money on a day to day basis but have the capability to project an impressive professional image to customers when required.”
